Replacing a Brew Boiler
Step 1 Depressurize the machine and coffee boilers
*See guide to depressurize the machine
Tool needed are a 10,12,14 and 15mm wrench
Once the machine is depressurized and the water and machine is turned off. Start by removing electrical connections on the boiler. This is the White and Black Wires.
Next unplug the 3 pin Molex connector for the RTD sensor
Remove both 12mm fittings on the tee fitting. Note there is a .1mm flow restrictor on the cold water input side.
Disconnect the Heated Hose from the boiler and move aside. Just disconnect one side.
Find a hard object to lift the machine high enough to loosen 2 bolts. I put this object under the rubber foot.
Remove both 10mm nuts under the boiler.
The boiler is now free and removed by pulling straight up.
Once repair is made follow steps in reverse order to re install the boiler unit.
Please make sure .1mm flow restrictor is back in place and water is turned on before turning on the machine.
